The Family
Over the last few weeks, A LOT of exciting things have been happening.
We are moving!
Yes, we are moving into the house that we have been driving by and staring at on the internet constantly.
The Signs were all there that this house was meant to be ours!
We couldn’t be more excited!
As we get ready to move, my wife has been busy (along with my mother-in-law) on how to decorate our new home. Anne has plans to rip up carpet, paint walls, and transform the basement. Once that is all done and we have the perfect family room built in our basement, Anne wants to hang the Photos on Canvas that she has of the kids on the wall in addition to a few of our wedding pictures. The latest canvas print she has added to our collection is one of our little Tatertot when he was 7 months old. It is a photo that Anne took at the park where we were married on our 1st Wedding Anniversary.
It is a photo that we both love! Seeing that big smile on his face that day as he sat in the grass playing with the leaves always makes us both smile too!
Ever since we got our first canvas print from Easy Canvas Prints, Anne has been hooked on the idea of using them in the family room. I have to say that I am happy with the quality of the canvas prints and love that running the photos onto the canvas didn’t distort the picture at all!
I cannot wait until we get settled into our new house, get the family room in our basement completed and finally have a space to hang these amazing pictures of our children.
Right now we have a house and once we are in and settled, it will finally be our home!

Now that we have 4 kids in our house, things are pretty chaotic….all the time. We are looking forward to Summer getting here soon and the kids being out of school. Although the regular school year will be over, the 3 oldest will be off to Summer school for a few weeks. This will be the little dude’s first year in Summer school and we think it will be the last for the 2 oldest and have been considering different Summer Camp Programs for next year. We have been looking at a variety of options that are available to us. For the oldest, I think he may enjoy a sleep away type of camp but as for the girl, I think she will need to do just a day camp.
My wife attended a non-tradtional Summer camp program as a teen and worked for the Wisconsin DNR at a Youth Conservation Camp and says that the month she was there was one of the best experiences she had as a kid and that is something we both want for our kids as well.
At least we have plenty of time to plan for next Summer and I’m sure we will continue to do so but right now we are preparing for the craziness that will be a Summer filled with swimming, soccer and tball!
Do your children attend a Summer Camp Program?
